wanting to let go;
smelling Christmas candles;
baking delicious treats;
wrapping caramels and gifts;
tying fancy bows;
shopping some more;
hanging the precious
ornaments your children
made years ago;
listening to carols,
particularly ones sung
by friends who
come to your door;
singing around the piano;
eating your favorite food;
watching old and new movies;
playing games; Christmas
lights popping on at dusk;
snuggling with blankets;
reading stories by the fire;
hearts saying prayers
of thankfulness; giving
and receiving love.
