I am still awake wrapping
presents and making bows.
Finally I turn off the light
and silently tip toe downstairs
hoping not to disturb those asleep.
I move about the house and
pause in front of the Christmas tree
with its lights now off.
The tree is more difficult to see,
but I can still make out its
branches by moonlight.
In a world filled with darkness,
the Savior is the light who
allows us to see our way.
The gifts placed beneath the
tree are thoughtful for they are
a symbol of a greater gift.
Remembering the true
gift of Christmas:
A Savior is Born
is what matters most.
His birth, life, Atonement,
and Resurrection bring. . .
light and everlasting life
to those who believe
and come follow Him.

the Tri Valley ward participate in the
live nativity at the Oakland Temple
