Day 122-Road Tripping

Leaving at 6:15 AM to beat the traffic in Sacramento, Rick, Jenessa and I took a road trip on Highway 80 from California, through Nevada, to Utah to take Jenessa to BYU.  Road tripping has its benefits, such as good conversations and bonding together for hours.  We talked about missions, majors, family, new year's goals, advice, and vacations.  Jenessa had her CD's made especially for road trips so we had good music to keep us dancing, humming, and singing.

Along the way pit stops are needed for junk food and gasoline.  Moreover, funny things can happen on pit stops, such as Jenessa walking into the men's bathroom in Wendover, Nevada.  Luckily, no one was in there. During many road trips, you may see interesting sights, but that is definitely not the case in Nevada after leaving the Sierras.  All and all, road tripping is fun, but it is always nice to get where we are going safe and sound.
