Day 47-25 Years Ago Today

October 17, 1989 is a triple 25-year-anniversary~

• Giants were playing in the World Series for the first time in 27 years; 
• the tragic Loma Prieta 6.9 earthquake occurred minutes before the scheduled start of Game 3 of the World Series showing the first moments of the earthquake around the world; 
• and Novogradac and Company LLC, a San Francisco-based CPA firm, was founded.  

Rick joined Novoco ten weeks after the firm started as employee number five on January 1, 1990.  The first April 15 end-of-tax season celebration happened in our home as we gathered around our kitchen table. Today there are 17 offices across the US with over 600 employees and over $100 million in annual revenue. Yes, good things happen around a dinner table!  Happy 25th Anniversary of the firm, Rick; thanks for being willing to take a risk and working so very hard these past many years to be one of the reasons for the firm's continued success!
