Week 20-G' Day, Mate

In honor of Australia Day on January 26 as I try to catch up on missing two weeks of blog posts while being at the Australian Tennis Open, I am reminded of the words Rick and I heard many times while Down Under:  "G' Day". Australians or Aussies as they are familiarly called are a very kind and friendly people.  They have a happy cheer which goes "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi" and they love their "barbies" or barbecues which we enjoyed as well.  Their motto is "no worries" so we were bound to relax while visiting their country, even while conquering my fear of heights by climbing the Sydney Bridge.  When I began this new weekly blog rather than daily blog in September, I hoped to try new things and this trip certainly made that happen.  Australia was one of the first of our tennis opens to attend on our bucket list and it did not disappoint.  Thank you to my dearest friend/husband for making this fabulous adventure possible!  (A shout out to Tennis Ventures also for planning such a tour with incredibly nice people to enjoy it with.)
