Jaclyn and I left at 6:30 am to drive to Tahoe in just three hours to see the Munson family. We met them at The Old Post Office in Carnelian Bay for a scrumptious brunch. We all walked to the arcade nearby and Mae & I stayed longer to have a Marme-Granddaughter date playing mini golf. After I gave Mae an early birthday gift for turning 7 on August 29 from Bapa and Marme. We relaxed at the cabin and then enjoyed a spectacular afternoon at Burnt Cedar Beach at Incline Village. At 4:00 pm, we hugged and kissed everyone goodbye to drive home for three hours. Basically, Jaclyn and I had a fun six hours talking and laughing in the car to and from Tahoe and a perfectly wonderful six hours plus seeing Brett, Juliann, Mae, Henry and Hugh during their vacation. A fabulous day to be sure and worth every minute!

loves ice cream, and Huey loves pickles!
