Day 345-Deep Roots

California may be in a drought in these warm to hot summer days, but with only two days of watering a week our bushes are still growing and our trees are blooming.   Even if the grass is becoming brown, the crepe myrtles are gorgeous.  The ground below may be dry and hard, but the roots must be seeking steadfastly to tap into a water source to maintain their stature and beauty.  Often we must do the same.  We may be low on water ourselves in a spiritual sense, but if our roots are grounded deep, we can find the source of all happiness, the Savior, who is the living water to revive, strengthen and even thrive!
