I am rarely crafty. I love to decorate, but I usually like to find fun house items at Target or Home Goods rather than make them myself. Today, however, I spray painted bird houses that our kind YSA bishop gave to me to help decorate for a wedding open house in August for a young couple in our ward. Next, I finally changed out some very old oval frames of my five children as babies with new ones that of course I did not make, but found at Aaron Brothers on their "buy one get another for a penny" sale. Though it was hot outside while spray painting, the bird houses dried in no time and I was able to come in to cool off and do the frames that I have put off doing for over a month. I guess I have had a good excuse for not doing many projects with two weddings occurring over the past two months. I also long to declutter (I have not forgotten the Magic of Tidying book), but don't have much time before September.
However, Rick just left for church meetings so that leaves me two to three hours to attack my closet. I will let you know tomorrow if I keep up the momentum from today. Reading a good book by the pool also sounds delightful. I do believe that most of my choices in life lately are not between good and bad, but between good and good. Or would you say between good, better, best? I feel blessed to have good choices to choose from.

Love my babies in these pics;
no matter how old they become,
they are still my babies!
