As I said last night in my blog, I was moving furniture while the internet was down. Waiting two years to find the perfect rug was worth it. I had to throw in some personal decorating around the house in addition to shopping for decorations for the wedding just so my mind could take a break on so many details, such as how many tablecloths to rent let alone how many tables to have in the first place. With wedding shopping consuming both time and expenses, I am ready to stop shopping altogether . . . almost! There are still internet orders outstanding and a few odds and ends to purchase. After the wedding is over, I plan to go on a shopping fast and sit in a lounge chair in the sun reading lots and lots of good books.
In the meantime, what a lucky woman I am to be able to have so much fun if I can only think of it that way instead of feeling overwhelmed with lists of to do's. I tend to wish for things to be over, but as the list gets less, I hope I am able to enjoy more. Looking for the acts of kindness and enjoyable happenings in the day whether all tasks get done or something goes wrong is one of the secrets to happiness.
