An eternal gift from Heaven above
sent to earth wrapped in love.
Upon the earth the birds do sing
and rivers swell with gentle rain.
where flowers, their colors, overflow
as warmth melts away the snow.
Heaven smiles upon the earth kindly
and showers her with beauty.
The gift of hope Heaven imparts
and bestows vision to the heart
for as the earth speaks of spring
we, God's children, may do the same.
