Day 209-Happy Husband

You have heard the saying "Happy Wife, Happy Life". Well, I have made up one of my own: "A Happy Husband Gives Love in Abundance". Sometimes, it is so easy for us as husband and wife to take each other for granted, especially after becoming parents.  Everyone's schedules seem to take priority, except for ours together. We get so comfortable with each other that we slip into a relaxing norm which is good; however, magic is important too.  It is good to be playful, spontaneous, and thoughtful even if you have to work around schedules. Remember a scene in Julia, Julia where her food blog becomes her single priority and she almost becomes single herself. Well, add planning a wedding into my life and even the blog takes a backseat.  My blog gets written with less and less creativity later and later at night leaving my husband happily, but alone, watching basketball or asleep in bed (it is tax season). Thus, once again, I am trying to write my blog earlier in the day so it gives more time in the evening for Rick and I to do things together, even if it is watching basketball (I love baseball so much more, but I can be a team player).  Love my handsome husband!
