Week 36-Happy 35 Years

Rick and I were married 35 years ago on May 9, 1981 in the Oakland Temple.  Marrying Rick is the best decision I have ever made.  We have known each other for 41 years, dated in high school, reconnected in college, and as people say, "The rest is history."  Throughout all this time Rick has always been the same person:  fun, happy, positive, outgoing, dedicated, hardworking, trustworthy, and faithful.  Yes, I married a Boy Scout, an Eagle Scout to be exact.  Rick does not care to seek attention, validation or limelight.  He cares about doing a job well, loves God and his family, and likes to serve others. Together we love to go on adventures whether in our own backyard relaxing by the pool or traveling to see new things we have not seen before or visiting people and places near and dear to our hearts.  We are there for each other during the good times and the challenging times.  It may not always seem like it, but these last several years have been the most trying of our lives, and there is no one I want by my side more.  Happy Anniversary!
