warm out of the oven
set on the cooling rack
waiting for the comfort
of fluffy frosting
to wrap them in love
and sprinkles to shower
them with prettiness.
Children, mouths watering,
waiting impatiently
to unwrap the
pleated paper
to take their first
scrumptious bite
of sugary sweet delight.
Mae loves making cupcakes with her mommy!
