Day 101-Be Prepared

So, a big storm is coming and we have been told to be prepared with extra water including some frozen water bottles in case of power outages to keep things cold in the freezer and refrigerator, flashlights and batteries, a solar-powered radio, and a plug-in phone.  Thankfully, other than freezing some water bottles, we have all of that.  Schools have been cancelled in SF with four-inches of rain expected.  It does not sound like that big of deal; however, when this much rain falls in one day, flooding, power outages and traffic problems occur.  It is surprisingly warm outside at 63 degrees just after 9 PM. As often quoted, "It is the calm before the storm."  I am signing off now so I can put water bottles in the freezer. We will plan for the worse and hope for the best!
