Week 28-Hands Clasped Forever

A sleeping baby
rests her hand
upon her parents'
hands; hers so
small and chubby,
soft and warm.
Theirs secure,
protecting,
nurturing,
and strong.
Parents' hands
holding fast
to calm, care,
catch, cradle,
coach, and comfort.
In the presence
of God, family,
and friends, hands
clasped forever
cherished and
united for eternity.

  2. We felt so privileged to be there. I just tweaked this for I forgot the title in the poem.
