Day 342-Sweet Flowers for a Sweet Couple

James and Mia, a sweet couple who met in the Tri Valley YSA ward, had many good people attend their reception to wish them love and joy in their life together.  Before decorating for the reception, I thoroughly enjoyed putting the centerpieces together and learned so much about flowers.  Mainly,  "less is more" with silk flowers so the "stars of the show," the fresh roses in this case, could be showcased.  I will have to keep a notebook to remember that and other good things for next time.  (I can't wait to learn more about bouquets and centerpieces from the two best flower arrangers I know:  Sydne and Hillary.) Luckily for me, the mason jars and all the other decorations were still easily accessible from my daughters' weddings. Watching season one of Gilmore Girls when Max sends Lorelai 1000 yellow daisies to propose seemed fitting while I  made the centerpieces.  Love Gilmore Girls, love flowers, love weddings, love the YSA, especially Alison Bates who made the lovely round cutting cake!
