Day 314-Blades from the Blades

Last Monday, after dropping off our sons at the Provo Airport to fly Allegiant home, then playing with our grandchildren, and hugging Juliann and them one more time, we left to drive Seth and Jaclyn's wedding/shower gifts and decorations home to California.  We thought about all the generous, sweet gifts in the back of the car and smiled at surely the best one that was opened in Utah by Jaclyn and Seth made especially for them:  a set of beautiful knives handmade by Uncle Carl.  Ironically, Uncle Carl's last name is Blades so it is fitting that he would have the skill and talent to craft such a wonderful gift!  Uncle Carl is a great dentist in Georgia should you ever need one in your travels too.

Along the way we encountered flash flood warnings
near Carson City, Nevada which were far away from us.
We made it home safe and sound.
