If having a wedding in the morning followed by a luncheon in the afternoon were not enough, Rick's sister Gayla Blades (who everyone thought was my daughter) and I decided to pop in on our high school ward reunion hosted by Ron Spotts and his wife Shelli. We had a fun time seeing people we had not seen in years and years from Sister Spotts and Sister Jacobs who taught me in Young Women (MIA) to Marsha Livingstone who warned me that to be married to a CPA, I would be a widow many months of the year but it would be worth it. Shirley Matthews who made my cake for my wedding over 34 years ago was there along with her daughter Lindsay. What fun it was to see Ron Spotts, Myron Guyman, Tom Bench, John Adams, John Knecht, Rick Miles, Jeanne Paulson, the Ridings and so many others.
Even though Sister Spotts says she no longer cooks,
I still use her cookbook "What Shall I Serve" and
think of her each time I do!
