at Chick-Fil-A, then
a stop at the car wash
to make the outside car shine.
The kids imagine monsters
attacking our car
as the huge mop-like
creatures wipe away the
dirt, rinse the car clean,
and dry it as if we were
inside a dishwasher.
Another quick stop
at Safeway to grab
groceries for dinner
and then we find our
way home waiting
for Lauren to come
visit. The hot tub
awaits the children
while they play;
the adults bake
in the warm-like
oven outside making
sure the children are safe.
After dinner and goodbyes,
we take a walk around the
block in our flip flops.
More games are next, then
Bapa chases the children
in the backyard till dark.
Time to brush teeth, read books
and go to bed. Oh, yes,
we need to make sure the
children do that too and not
just the parents and grand-
parents who are tired.
A happy day!
