Just a quick car drive away and we found ourselves at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum in Walnut Creek where I use to take my children when they were little. Of course, within the past 15-20 years the place has been updated and remodeled. We had a great time seeing all the animals the museum had rescued and were helping to make better. Mae, Henry and Hugh especially liked the owls, hawks and bees. When we came home, we learned from cousins Aspyn and Londyn as they face timed Mae that it was National Donut Day. Uncle Cameron, Mica and Mae take another quick drive to Krispy Kreme's to bring us all home donuts. Whoo knew we could have so much fun so close to home!
