Sometimes I get antsy wondering which direction to take next.
I walk into the family room and see my desk filled with paper
to respond to--to keep or throw away.
I see the kitchen and think I need to plan and prepare dinner.
"Later," I say and walk away.
I walk passed my closet and shut the door.
I could declutter, but what a mess I will make if I begin.
By the way, I did organize four drawers the other night
instead of reading so maybe I should grab the stack of books,
go outside, and read by the pool NOW!
And that is almost what I did after I did my blog,
but that darn kitchen grabbed my attention again
so I am trying to think of what to cook
when I remember what my good friend Patti says,
"There are only so many meals to make in you
and I have nearly reached my limit!"
Amen to that as I head outdoors with a book!
