Day 197-Wedding Projects & Family Fun

While in Utah, we have been in three Michael's Arts and Crafts stores just to find enough wooden boxes that we could stain to hold the flower centerpieces on the tables. Juliann and I were out on her deck from 10:30-11:30 pm staining away.  Just think about that for a moment.  It's March 16 in Utah and we only began to feel cold just before we went inside.  The high was 75 degrees here today.  Such incredibly warm weather here and in California, which allows us to do projects, such as staining outside.  The goal is to do something each day toward Jenessa's wedding in between all the family festivities surrounding our nephew's graduation and move.  Today was the pre-graduation party so we did not get home till late to begin again on our wooden boxes. Tomorrow we hope to finish the second coat and add a sealer so they can dry before we pack them up in my luggage to bring home on Thursday.  I am so grateful for Juliann who is our Martha Stewart of the family!

PS The internet is working once again!

Congratulations Jeff on your graduation!
