Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer together in The Sound of Music create the loveliest of musicals along with the rest of the cast. The music is brilliant and the setting is gorgeous. Rick and I visited Salzburg in Austria a long time ago and loved walking the roads near the abbey in awe of the incredible Alpine surroundings. Salzburg is also the birthplace of Mozart so music is part of its legacy. Mae loves music and the movie so Juliann, Henry and I watched it with her today. I am grateful for those who are inspired to bring forth good productions such as The Sound of Music to enrich our lives with beauty through music and film.
