Day 111-Fun Traditions

Disneyland vacations every three to four years are a family tradition.  Moreover, Rick's family began a tradition of dining at the Blue Bayou in Disneyland.  Rick remembers as a child eating Monte Cristo sandwiches there and loving them.  Today our family enjoyed lunch at the Blue Bayou as we carry on the tradition amid the ambiance of the Pirates of the Caribbean. This was later followed by an established tradition of calling Auntie Judy when riding It's A Small World since it is her best-loved ride; we wished her an early happy birthday too.  When we came off the ride, a jolly fellow dressed in red named Santa Claus happened to be riding a sleigh on a float. Tonight while everyone but my grandsons and I rode the Tower of Terror, we saw another favorite character dressed in red:  Lightning McQueen!  Timing is everything and traditions old and new are as well.
