Day 28-Crescent Beach

Arriving late yesterday, we walked along Crescent Beach in Canada watching the waves roll in and out, missing the flaming ball of fire, but catching the last streaks of pink, purple, yellow, and orange. Silhouettes of people talking edged the path, while warm lights glowed from within their enchanted cottages with white picket fences, flowering vines, and gates of welcome bidding farewell to the setting sun.  In the far away sky, a crescent moon hung in the balance waiting for its moment to shine. Patience and faith.  Faith and patience.  The moon's glow lit our footsteps home.

Our own moon may be waiting to shine and realize its full potential depending on its position in regard to the sun. For some, their moon may dazzle the heavens full and abundant, abounding in both faith and humility, strength and obedience. For others who are more fearful and doubting, their light  gleams half as full and bright.  And there are others whose light is mostly hidden from view that only a sliver comes forth behind the shadows of choices and trials.  However, their light has not gone out; it continues to glow and become unblocked through perseverance and overcoming earthly challenges and obstacles.  The crescent-shaped moon with patience and faith becomes bright and full as each new day passes until the moon bursts into radiant light that illuminates the way for themselves and others to walk forward.
